Coastal Path, taking you to famous Mudeford
Quay, with it's ferries to traffic free
Hengistbury Head, or to Christchurch
Highcliffe Castle This Grade 1
listed building has been extensively renovated,
and is a centre for exhibitions and concerts.
Stroll in the cliff top grounds, and take in the
views of the Isle of Wight, or relax in the
popular Tearooms
The New
Forest The world famous National
Park is just a few minutes drive away, and is
perfect for walking, cycling, horse
riding, or for a drive around to admire the
scenery

Christchurch With its famous
Priory Church, Christchurch has many events
of all kinds, especially in Spring and Summer.

music concerts and performances (many free) and
regattas
Watersports Our coast is
perfect for every kind of watersport enthusiast,
from sailing and boarding, to skiing and
boating. There are several centres where
you can learn all of these sports
Fishing No matter what your
preference, the area is perfect for fishing.
There is everything from river fishing in the
famous River Avon, to beach fishing to organised
boat trips from Mudeford Quay (where all the
equipment is provided)
Nature Reserves The area has
many nature reserves, Sites of Special
Scientific Interest (SSSI) including several
right in Highcliffe, such as Nea Meadows (just a
couple of minutes walk from Warren Cottage) and
Steamer Point
